It also concludes that Agapius' Arabic version and the Syriac versions of Eusebius' Ecclesiastical History are Christian redactions that shed no light on Josephus' original text".
Sievers, Joseph in: JSJ 30.4 (1999), 471: "The linguistic analysis of the Testimonium Flavianum highlights major Christian interpolations, which most probably are to be dated to the second half of the 3rd century. The same analysis singles out hints of an original text which describes Jesus as a charismatic man, loved by his disciples.
