Les Miscellanea Coisliniana Secondary Title: RHT Volume: 22 Pages: 89-130 Type: Journal Article Year: 1992 Abstract: "The fifteenth century Sinaiticus gr. 461 is a faithful copy of the eleventh century Parisinus Coislinianus 193. It enables us to fill in the gaps the latter contains and to reconstitute the genuine collection of miscellanies. The MSS. contain many patristic pieces, most of them dealing with Scripture. There are references to Aquila and Symmachus, and Demetrius, Eupolemus, Philo and Josephus; there ist also a new copy of the Dialogue between a Christian and a Jew [Clavis Patrum Graecorum 3, 7772]". Keywords: Reception of Josephus: Antiquity, Middle Ages, Early Modern Period |
