Abstract: Harrington, Daniel J. in: NTAb 43.2 (1999), 329: "The name Pwtl'ys (Potlais/Ptolas) in 4Q468g very likely refers to the person mentioned by Josephus in Antiquities 17:219 as a friend of the tetrarch Archelaus, and the massacre is probably the event reported in 17:213-218. The fragment belongs to the genre of portentous calendars, i.e. calendars recording ill-fated days. The person's name is a hybrid of Egyptian, Hebrew, and Greek elements".
