Abstract: This article identifies and categorizes the differences between the Slavonic and Greek versions of Wars in their uses of phrases. Some divergences suggest that the two versions might have respectively based on the two drafts that Josephus prepared. One was written for the Jewish people, whereas another one was for his Graeco-Roman readers. The article particularly uses the first part of book one as an example.
