Philo justified the Israelites' actions of killing them. Ps-Philo only mentioned that Moses defeated them, without discussing much about the episode. Josephus maintained that the Israelites' action was justified, saying nothing about the women and children and omitting God's hardening the spirit of the Israelites' enemies. |
