Then, the article examines Josephus' account and its relations with the discourse about the astrology and astronomy in Rome during the first century CE. Abraham was not only a scientist and teacher, but more importantly, he was a discoverer of the monotheism, which was a fundamental Jewish contribution to the culture in the ancient world.
