Abstract: "Martínez, F. García in: JSJ 28,2 (1997) 239-240: Après une étude détaillée de 11QTemplea IV-VII et une comparaison systématique des données avec les descriptions du tabernacle, du temple de Salomon, du temple d'Ezéchiel, de Josèphe et de la Mishna, S. conclut que ""the author/redactor of the Temple Scroll apparently felt no specific obligation to pattern the Temple building after the Tabernacle,"" et que ""the scroll apparently did not see any of the Temple plans available to him as prescriptive"". // Harrington, Daniel J.: This article outlines those features of the Temple (terraces and storied structures, temple [byt], portico, Holy of Holies, upper chamber) that can be gathered from Temple Scroll, and compares them systematically to what is known from the descriptions of the Tabernacle, the Solomic Temple, Ezekiel's Temple, Josephus, and the Mishnah. The entire Temple complex, with its three concentric courtyards, is built to imitate the Israelite encampment from the wilderness period. Moreover, the other plans were taken by the author/redactor as descriptive and not prescriptive."
