Abstract: "Archeologist Dan Bahat has identified a huge structure underneath Jerusalem's Moslem Quarter. Hasmonean ruins, found at the northern end of a tunnel dug along the Western Wall, may be another temple, built after that which was constructed by those returning from the exile and before that of Herod. This is the temple described in m. Middot, which differs from the description of Josephus. [Frederick E. Greenspahn]"
