After investigating elements of form and content (esp. the list of witnesses), the author concludes that the Roman decree dealing with M. Antonius' and P. Dolabella 's decisions about the Jews which appears in Ant. 14.217-222 seems to be a copy of a copy of a real, authentic Roman Senatus Consultum, freely quoted by Josephus."
