Abstract: "VanderKam, James C. in: JSPE 15 (1997) 100-101: The papers included in this collection were presented at an international colloquium held in San Mimiato, Italy, 2-5 November, 1992. Smith had initiated the idea for the conference and was to participate in it, but his death on 11 July 1991 led to the decision to gather the papers in a memorial volume. S.
