| Title: An early epitomator of Josephus: Eustathius of Epiphaneia Secondary Title: ByZ Volume: 81 Pages: 1-11 Type: Journal Article Year: 1988 Abstract: "Veröffentlichung eines Textes, der im Codex Paris.
"Edition and discussion of a hitherto unrecorded epitome of parts of AJ and BJ in the 13th /14th century Codex Paris. Gr. 1555A, ff.5-7. The author "added to this epitome computations of his own, which he made on the basis of Jewish chronographical records". The MS attributes the next to the sixth century historian Eustathius of Epiphaneia; it is, however, "difficult to discern from the fragments what Eustathius himself may have composed and what was added or touched upon by a copyist".
